Paper Charms: Intro to Scherenschnitte Paper Cut Art

In this class, you will learn about the history of the enchanting art of paper cut art.  The elements of the art and the principles of designing patterns for cutting, including positive and negative space will be explored.  Students will learn the technique to use scissors to cut two simple charming designs that will be ready to display on colored background paper to take home.   

Students will be provided with scissors, patterns and background paper to take home.
