The freshest vegetables you can eat are the ones you grow organically in your own garden. Plan ahead for a successful home garden by understanding the life-cycles, needs and culture of your favorite vegetables. This workshop will teach proper planting times and methods; crop spacing, watering, feeding and staking needs; insect and disease control; harvesting and storage techniques, and more. Materials Fee: $3 (cash only) payable to instructor on the first night of class. Class is limited to 15 students.
