: All teachers want children to fulfill their creative potential, but teachers and other adults often unintentionally stifle creativity. Fueling Creativity in the Classroom is designed to help teachers know and understand the skills that children need to thrive in the future: knowing how to learn, passion and curiosity, people skills, and creativity. Teachers need to ensure that every single early childhood setting is a place where ideas can grow and our course will help new and seasoned teachers with their approach in fostering creativity for the students in their classrooms.

: This course is instructor supported. The instructor for this course is Marissa Wilson, Marissa has seven years of preschool teaching experience in not for profit programs and large government organizations. She has worked with multiple age groups and trained staff on the use of technology tools, such as Teaching Strategies and SMART boards. Most recently, Marissa was a lead pre-kindergarten teacher with Head Start. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of North Dakota and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Online Learning & Teaching from The University of Wisconsin-Stout.Certification
