: EnglishShort Description
: Control is the organizational process that creates standards towards achieving company goals, compares the actual company performance to the standards, and then takes action to correct deviation from the standards to restore performance. The balanced score-card asks managers to look at four perspectives on organizational performance that look beyond more traditional financial measures: the customer perspective, the internal perspective, the innovation and learning perspective, and the financial perspective. An important part of the management process is setting standards, monitoring performance towards the standards, and taking action when there is a gap between the two. This course discusses how a balanced scorecard gives managers a better perspective on organizational performance.Instructor Description
