Short Description: This course was designed as a supplemental study guide for the major content areas of Chapters 1 and 2 of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), Sixth Edition. In this course, you will be introduced to the five project management process groups and 10 project management knowledge areas that PMI® sorts all project activities into. You will become familiar with several different types of project life cycle approaches, and discover the "pre-project" assignments and documents that must be in place before a project can be formally initiated.
