Short Description: Certified Professional Photographers use their skills, expertise, and artistry to capture images that both tell stories and record memories for posterity. Photographers who achieve professional certification have both the credentials and skill sets to pursue their artistic dreams as portrait, aerial, scientific, news, commercial/industrial, or fine-arts photographers.

Students who complete this course will master various photographic techniques and fundamentals, including the science of optics, technical skills of digital photography and photo editing, subject-dependent techniques and approaches, and various aspects of freelance professional entrepreneurship (including financial management. Students will also be provided with a full year's access to Adobe Photoshop. Those who complete the course will be awarded a voucher to take the Professional Photographers of America's (PPA) Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) certification, a valuable tool to demonstrate mastery to future and employees.

Instructor Description: Though this program is a self-paced program it is supported by an educational mentor. Educational mentors are subject matter experts who have years of experience in their field as well as the necessary educational training and credentials to work as an expert. The mentor is available to answer any questions a learner may have including questions on course content, course material, certifications, and even industry questions. Mentors also monitor the progress of learners to ensure training retention and program advancement. In eLearning, motivation is a key tool to success. Because of this, mentors provide encouraging comments, feedback, and coaching to motivate learners throughout the duration of the program to support completion and success!
