Introduction to Microsoft Office

This is an ideal course for beginners or people who have limited knowledge of Microsoft Office. Students will learn how to comprehensively utilize several Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Students will learn how to navigate through, stylize, customize, format, save, print, and send Word documents. Students will also learn how to utilize PowerPoint to create presentations, slideshows, and handouts. Students will also receive an introduction to Excel: a program that enables you to create and edit spreadsheets, allowing them to manage data in an organized and effective way for personal or professional use. This will be accomplished through hands-on instructions, followed by projects, which will be given during class time to reinforce all concepts. This class is taught using the Windows 10 environment, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Office. General knowledge and experience with computers is strongly recommended. Students will NOT be allowed to bring their own laptops. 5 weeks/15 hours
