Explores the transition from hobbyist to professional, including part?time vs. full?time paths, required skills and knowledge, branches of home?based photography, and strategies for separating personal and business life.
Module 2: Financial & Legal Foundations
Covers essential financial planning, pricing for profit, managing costs and accounts, and understanding legal business structures such as sole proprietorships, partnerships, LLCs, and corporations.
Module 3: Business Planning, Taxes & Recordkeeping
Focuses on writing an effective business plan, tracking expenses, using home and personal assets for business, maintaining records, and estimating taxes and sales tax obligations.
Module 4: Managing & Marketing Your Photography Business
Addresses goal setting, productivity systems, storage and filing, reputation management, and core marketing strategies including websites, publicity, and promotion.
