This class takes a deeper dive into modern calligraphy and is the perfect next step in your calligraphy journey! During this class, you will learn new basic drills to help you level up your calligraphy, mixing your own colored ink, the fundamentals of lettering design, and basic flourishing composition. It is strongly suggested that you take a beginner modern calligraphy class before participating in this workshop. You will need a basic understanding of writing with a pen and nib to take this class. As long as you have taken our beginner class, you are good to go!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!
