« back to classes page
The course is offered to all students who require 600 hours of Massachusetts Electric Code & Theory in order to qualify to apply for the Electrician’s Examinations. As well as 4 years of employment, and 8,000 hours as an “apprentice” under the direct supervision of a licensed journeyman, you are required to SUCCESSFULLY complete 600 hours of learning objectives as offered in this program that follow the principles established by the Board of State Examiners of Electricians for apprentices in preparation for the Journeyman’s State License Examination.
In order for an objective to be offered, a minimum of 10 students in a class is required; therefore, we encourage you to register as early as possible. We will cancel the class if we do not have a minimum of 10 students registered 3 days prior to start date of each objective.
If you are unsure of objectives completed vs. objectives needed, please contact our office for assistance.
Payment in full must be made upon enrollment. No payment plan is available and no exceptions will be made. Cost of textbooks are additional and are the responsibility of the students.
Each learning objective will meet 3 hours per night (two nights per week 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) for 15 weeks September – December and repeated January – May.
You must have the current edition of the National Electrical Code Book and a calculator.
You may be required to purchase additional books at the discretion of the instructor.
