ClassGraphic The game of Mah Jongg originated in China.  This tile game is played by 4 players and is similar to the Western card game gin rummy.  Mah Jongg is a game of skill, strategy and calculation which involves a certain degree of chance as well.  A variation of Mah Jongg that follows the rules of the National Mah Jongg League will be taught at Bay Path in three-2 hour sessions.


In this class, the rules, setup and terminology will be introduced. We will have fun learning and developing strategies to win.

Required for first class: 2026 National Mah Jongg card - you can purchase here:  https://www.nationalmahjonggleague.org/.  The 2026 card should be available for purchase in January.
