The 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training should emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.

  • OSHA Focus Four
  • Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment 
  • Health Hazards in Construction 
  • Stairways and Ladders.
  • Concrete and Masonry Construction
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, & Conveyors
  • Ergonomics
  • Excavations
  • Fire Protection and Prevention
  • Materials Handling, Storage, Use and Disposal
  • Motor Vehicles, Mechanized Equipment and Marine Operations; Rollover Protective Structures and Overhead Protection; and Signs, Signals and Barricades
  • Powered Industrial Vehicles
  • Safety and Health Programs
  • Scaffolds
  • Steel Erection
  • Tools - Hand and Power
  • Welding and Cutting
As well as more in-depth review of other topics.   OSHA card fee: $8.00 payable to instructor on first night of class.    8 weeks/30 hours
