Crochet is a widespread tradition here in New England.  You’ve seen the “Granny Square” crochet afghans in your mothers’ or grandmothers’ house.  Now you can learn to make your own! In this class, you will learn to choose your yarn and hooks, understand written patterns, and perform the basic stitches.  Learn to make objects such as afghans, scarves, and more. The course will include popular topics such as the Granny Square, Corner-to-Corner, and V-stitch. Teaching and demonstration materials provided. After first class, students will be encouraged to choose a project and purchase their own working materials. 5 weeks/10 hours
