It will teach you how to comfort patients when drawing their blood and much more. Therefore, this program is an excellent option for healthcare professionals to improve their skills as well.
This phlebotomy technician program will teach you:

• Methods to physically and mentally prepare patients for drawing blood

This program also includes certification. We’ll provide you with an exam voucher for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician(CPT) certification exam by the National Healthcareer Association. Also, we provide our students with a clinical externship opportunity at any one of their local healthcare providers! This optional externship will give you hands-on experience, improving the application of the skills you learn in this course.
After completing our program and certification, you can become a phlebotomy technician and begin advancing your career in the healthcare industry.
Instructor Description: Though this course is self-paced, it is supported by a client adviser. Client advisers are available to answer student questions and monitor student progress to ensure completion of the course. Motivating and encouraging students, the client adviser gives students inspiration to succeed.
Certification: Students who complete this program will have the opportunity to pursue the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Phlebotomy Technician Exam. In addition, several state and national certification exams exist to test the competency of aspiring phlebotomy technicians. Each state may have additional licensing requirements, be sure to research your states requirements for employment by visiting your states occupation board.
