Short Description: Medical Assistants play a key role in Healthcare and are the backbone of most Healthcare facilities. With this live simulation, students will experience real life scenarios that Medical Assistants face everyday. Students are able to navigate through the simulation, interacting with different patients and performing different tasks. Each task assigned in this simulation will allow the student to progress further and complete the services to each patient. Each task within the scenarios much be completed correctly or you will be forced to return to the beginning of the scenario. The 4 scenarios in this simulation will require that students have the knowledge and skills to successfully work as a medical assistant including performing an ECG, accurately addressing a wound, following proper procedures when drawing blood, and much more.

Instructor Description: This simulation is self-paced, students enter the world of healthcare in this live simulation. Students are able to navigate freely throughout the simulation, making the required decisions to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
