Bay Path Nursing Assistant Program

Certified Nursing Assisting (CNA) is a fast growing gateway to the allied health care field. This course is approved by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This course prepares students for the certification exam as a nursing assistant. Nurse’s Assistant candidates will complete 87.5 hours of classroom and lab instruction and 29.5 hours of clinical instruction at a local rehabilitation and health care center.

  • Injury prevention
  • Aging Process
  • Nutrition
  • End of life
  • Infection control
  • Personal Care
  • Alzheimer’s

 
Students must provide their own:
  • Clean white or black shoes or white or black sneakers (solid white or solid black only)
  • Dark Navy Scrubs (1 or 2-sets)
  • Watch with a second hand
  • Gait belt
  • Transportation to the clinical site
 
Tuition includes:
  • Massachusetts Nurse’s Aide Exam fee 
  • CPR/BLS for Healthcare workers
  • Books
  • NA pin (upon successful completion)
  • Student professional liability insurance
 
Once registered, students will receive the medical forms
required for clinical instruction.
