There are many reasons to learn how to knit. It has shown to decrease stress, improve concentration and lower blood pressure. Making a beautiful item by hand instills a sense of pride and enhances one’s self esteem. You will learn how to choose the type and sizes of needle and yarn. Covered in the class will be types of cast on, basic stitches, finishing and some decorative techniques. Join this class for a fun way to learn this craft! After first class, students will be encouraged to choose a project and purchase their own materials.   4 weeks/8 hours
