Advanced Buttercream Piping Skills

Take your buttercream piping skills to the next level by learning some advanced floral piping techniques. This class will focus on detailed piping of roses using a flower nail, creating spiked lavender, filler florals, as well as using mini Russian tips. We will practice first before applying to cupcakes. If you have taken a buttercream basics class and are familiar with the consistency of decorator's buttercream icing and the pressure required to squeeze a decorating bag consistently, then this class is for you!
You don't need to bring anything. All supplies will be provided for this class including 6 cupcakes (3 vanilla 3 chocolate, plus there will be extra for snacking!), buttercream, 4 couplers, 4 decorating tips and mini Russian Tips, disposable decorating bags, a flower nail, and a carry home cupcake box. You will keep the decorating bags, tips, couplers, and flower nail, to take home and continue practicing! Please email instructor Sue with any food allergy concerns: letscakedecorate@gmail.com There is a material fee of $60 (cash only) payable to the instructor on first night of class.  1 night/2½  hours
