Introduction to Ukulele

« back to classes page
The ukulele is a fun, portable and is easy to learn. It’s also great to sing along with. You will be playing songs on the first night even if you are playing for the first time . This is a fun and relaxed course that will teach you at your own pace by playing songs you already know. I do NOT recommend buying your uke online. There are many fine music stores that will have your uke turned up and ready to play. Union Music in Worcester has a great selection. Either of these 3 types of Ukulele’s will be fine. Soprano, (smallest), Concert, next size up, then the Tenor., If you have bigger hands, or play guitar, I would recommend the Tenor. The largest is the Baritone but not for this class. Have your Ukulele in standard tuning, a tuner and a music stand on the first night. Contact the instructor  if you have any questions dave.laska@gmail.com . 8 weeks/12 hours
